Advantages of one or two foggers

Need to get fog machine. Mid size venue, continuous operation, under $500, water based fluid.

Thinking of either 1 Chauvet Atmos or (2) Martin Magnum 1200's . See any benefit for us to have 2 smaller foggers to give us some flexibility as to where fog comes from and using in smaller venues? How much noise do these make if we want to operate during a show?

Thanks in advance...

I have never used the Magnum 1200, but I have used High-End's FQ-100 extensively. Not sure how they compare in terms of noise level, but our FQ's are quiet. The loudest part is of course the "pfffffffff" of fog through the nozzle, but that's a given when you're moving a lot of fluid. It's not a loud noise, but would be noticed during a quiet scene.

As for benefits of two foggers, in my opinion:

1). They will probably not hit their reheating cycles at the same time (which generally last about 30 seconds), and can cause a late cue if you only have one fog machine.
2). More even coverage than with one fog machine.
