Looking for Milky White...

Hi,

We are doing Into the Woods, and the cow we(supposedly) had, has gone out to pasture, so we are looking for a plastic, resin, stuffed, whatever milky white cow... oh, and its a only two weeks away....the director does not want to use costume....

So, if anyone has one, knows where they got one, and its on the cheap(of course), I thought I would ask here before we try and get elbow deep in chicken wire and plaster....

We are north of Detroit...

Thanks for talking the time to read...

Sean...

And have a great day...

Here is how I built (well, remodeled) Milky White. http://www.theresabrandon.com/news/milky-white
Brilliant ! and Beautiful !
Great Execution!

For future reference, if you don't know already, there are a couple things that can negatively and positively affect Polyurethane foam expansion one of the biggest is Humidity. Polyurethane really needs free H2O to cure, in areas of high humidity great stuff tends to expand less and the outside tends to harden a lot crustier. this will sometimes cause the interior to no cure at all, or to take a very long time.
I LOVE the udder idea! I had fill a bunch of footballs and Basketballs for a Nike window display a while back; I'l be honest it was a Pain in the Butt!

Great job!

For our Into The Woods show we had two different actors with cow costumes. This was a great highlight to the show because they did great and were hilarious. But as for your problem you can always find or even order a cow if you have the money. Building one could be simple if you wanted just think simple

Don't know if if its available right now. But if you're willing to drive to PA, this is the one my wife is renting for her show later this year. That might be an unreasonable distance, I drive so much for stuff that my perspectives are skewed.

I am sorry for the utter delay in posting our Milky White, and so here she is.... IMG_1239.JPG IMG_1240.JPG

She started life as a lonely Christmas Reindeer....

Enjoy

Sean...

P.S. Sorry for the bad joke....well, not really...:)

Admittedly, our milky white was a humorous addition to the trainwreck that was everything before the show. Needless to say, we ran out of time and went for the plywood special. Also on our list for that show:
-A director who couldn't be there an awful lot of the time
-Incompatible microphone packs
-The opening night was THE FIRST COMPLETE RUN of the second act
