Has anyone used the Antari S-200X snow machine?

How quiet is it?

still has a fan that makes a decent amount of noise. You would still want to isolate it somehow, or spring for the S-500! the nozzle end is completely silent and this thing put out some snow!

Yes, even though it's called the "Silent Snow" it's still about as loud as a vacuum cleaner. It's got quite a bit of throw to it (I measured about 30' at full output) so you could tuck it safely offstage, or build a sound baffle around it.
