LED House light control

I am looking to install some LED retrofits in the house lighting at my theater, has anyone tied or know how to get DMX/ArtNET/sACN to control ZigBee devices (the LED house lights) I am looking at the Sylvainia Lightify product line. Thanks in advanced!

Try to reach out to Sylvania tech support and be persistent. I know Ketra - a similar "smart bulb" - has a transmitter that accepts a number of input protocols including DMX. Please post about how this works. I'm trying them in work lights / running lights backstage - blue or white and dimming all on Paradigm. Want to see if they can be configured to be a cue light as well.

I was curious and I did a little more research on this topic as these lamps are similar to the Philips Hue lamps. Both are supposed to be controlled through a Zigbee 3.0 wireless standard and some people can control their Lightify fixtures with a Hue gateway. However many have problems with different firmware in both the gateway and the lamp. Try reading this thread for some of the frustration:

There seems to be a limitation inherent to this control standard where you can only update one fixture every one tenth of a second. You can get a good fade with one fixture but it slows when trying to update groups of fixtures. I read a comment in a different thread stating that this standard is not adequate for real-time control.

A quick search and I found this:

I think I would want more info before I spent any money. I also think that wireless control of houselights sounds sketchy. I don't think it would work with an ELTS.

We do not have a instigated ELTS (we have a manual switch in the booth in the event of an emergency to turn on a set of hard wired work/house lights), I am concerned about the time delay the might happen with ZigBee, all of the Theatrical hardwired LED RGB House lights are way outside my budget and honestly have too many bells and whistles I don't need.

If your budget is limited to retrofitting lamps into existing house lights, tell us what lamp is the existing house light designed for. That will allow sharing the most useful experiences.
