DMX to analog 10V control

Here is my setup. Lytemode lm8080 dimmer matrix, analog 0-10V control signal. 24 channels. Ideally i'd like to convert to DMX slowly for economic reasons. I see there are dmx to analog converters i could use to make this transition. Today the system has 2 remote pads for scene control. I am looking for suggestions on good solutions to replace the controller. I was lookkng at Litghtronics, who else has similar equipment to do the crossover from analog to dmx. I did not see many remote scene contol systems. Any feedback is appreciated.

A Goggle search of "dmx to analog" will reveal several vendors, Northlight, and Doug Fleenor among others for the converter box. Once you have your dimmers speaking dmx, the world of both hardware consoles and inexpensive software solutions opens. Check the web sites of Enttec and DMX King for good, solid usb to dmx units and the list of lighting control software they show. Most modern consoles and several of the software packages will allow an Android or iOS pad to send OSC (open sound control) messages to them for remote control.

Depends on if you are looking for a software or a hardware solution and how complex your control needs to be. If you just need to program several scenes or looks for later playback or have limited manual control like in a ballroom or similar, you could go with a very simple hardware-based system like a Dove, Lightronics, or NSI 24-channel console and a couple of Fleenor Preset 10 hardwired remote stations.

Hey fellas, thanks for tge replies. I am seeking a hardware setup and like 8 scenes maximum, could do it with 4 even. I will check out all these options. Much appreciated.

You might look at the Dove Systems TechMaster 12/24+Sublime submaster panel (24 channel single scene + 24 memory scenes) or the Lightronics TL4016 (32 channel single scene + 16 memory scenes). For DMX to 0-10, the Northlight DEC24ENC or Lightronics UMX-24 both of which are 24 channel units. For remote stations, the Fleenor Preset 10. If you just need to set up scenes that will only be played back by the remote stations, you could borrow or rent a DMX console to program the scenes in the Preset 10 units and be done with it.
