What booth are you in? What session will you be speaking at?

If you are a dealer or someone speaking in one of the conference sessions this is the place for you to shamelessly plug where CB members can find you and say hello.

For Example you might say something like:
"Hello on CB I'm @GreyWyvern, but in real life I'm David Stauss. I work for Apollo Design. We'll be featuring games, swag, and magical prizes! We might also have a cool new gizmo for you to see... Stop by booth #1431 and say hello."

I will be at the eSET session on Saturday. As newly appointed chairman of the committee developing the projection/video exam, I would love to have students, educators, and those looking to hire entry level positions attend. There will be committee members from other disciplines as well, so this is a great time to put in your opinion about the current as well as the developing exams.

For a really cool new gizmo, how about a shapeshifting nanobot gobo?????
Also, will the inflatables now include built in whoppie cushions, that would be sort of magical.

EDIT: Whoops, whoppie is the pie (actually a cake or cookie) whoppee is the cushion.

For those of you new to the LDI 2017 thread, Apollo will be presenting new and exciting products in booth #1431.

Stop by and say 'YO'! :D

Don Pugh, Robert Mokry, Jullie Martinez and Patti Mokry from LightParts will be at booth 332 (across from Martin's big stand in the back). We'll have some stuff to give away, so come on by. Also, if you need a free show floor pass, use our badge code E105.

The products we'll be promoting are:

LightParts metal halide lamps - we've notice a decline in quality in some metal halide lamps. Don Pugh was the "lamp development and qualification" guy at High End for many years. We searched far and wide for a superior Far East manufacturer, tested their samples, etc., then made our selection. By Don working closely with them, we jointly developed a line of lamps that are of VERY high quality. As good or even better that what is presently on the market. One of our favorite sayings is "you get what you INSPECT, not what you EXPECT". Don inspects every lamp for quality on arrival. LightParts lamps are priced in between the established brands and "cheap Chinese lamps". We'll have some info up on our website soon, but we have versions of the lamps used in many popular automated lights available. And when the "established brands", owned by billion dollar companies, decide the metal halide lamp business is too small for them to mess with (as we have with many tungsten lamps), we'll be there. So please consider supporting our effort.

Flat rate PCB repairs - by popular demand, we're instituting a flat/minimum rate repair scheme. So there will be a set price, and that's what you'll pay unless it looks like the repair will exceed that minimum - then we'll contact you for permission to proceed (or not). If we did this right, those situations should be few and far between. This will make admin of repair costs easier for customers and us too.

Look forward to seeing you at LDI 2017!

There's a rumor going around that the gum is coming back and will first be available in our booth at the show. But don't tell @ApolloDesign I told you!
AWESOME!!

For those who don't know, it used to be that when you ordered an Apollo product it came with a couple little boxes of Chiclets Gum. But that went away a few years ago.

A side note for free candy fans: When you order from Sweetwater.com, you get a package with about five random pieces of candy in it. Sweet Tarts, Tootsie rolls, Bit o honey, atomic fireballs, butterscotch hard candy... all the classics.

I've gotten candy from Monkey Wrench Productions, they mostly sell on Ebay. It was some tiny bananas.

My friend Seth runs that company (we worked together in Phoenix). He is the US distributor of Dirty Rigger gear. I got some of their rope access gloves and absolutely love them.
