Hello fellow technical craft folks!

My name is Jerry and I have done it all it seems. Basically over a 30+ year career(s) I have been all over the world on other people's money and loved it every step of the way. I am chock full of opinions and cool secrets (your mileage may vary). I look forward to sharing my experiences / serving as a warning for others...

Now I am working at a pretty awesome amusement park doing the park audio and video. A pretty great gig.

So, Hi!

So, Hi!
@Ancient Engineer Welcome to Control Booth YOUNG GUY, there are worse places you could be.
Toodleoo!
Ron Hebbard.

Golly Gee Wilikers, welcome aboard Jerry.
The My name is Jerry for some reason makes me think of this place as a sort of 12 step program. (Of course I don't think any of the 12 step programs talk about that 13th step, the early stage wherein the new member has that insidious holier than thou attitude.)
I do have a geezer test question for you, in your comment on that audio console thread you used the phrase Great Googly Moogly!!! My question is do you remember where you picked that up. Was it Howlin' Wolf or perhaps Frank Zappa. Or some yellow monster from a kids show. In my case I picked it up from late nite Tulsa TV and Gailard Sartain aka Mazeppa Pompozoidi. I also picked up another favorite term Gizzerblinky for any flashing light.

It was Frank Zappa. 10 out of 10 points for that sir!

After all The crux of the biscuit is the apostrophe!

Welcome. There are several alums of "The Amazement Park" on here.

Perhaps someone can tell the tale of how a soundboard burned down the Frontier Theater, in the late 1970s as I recall.

Welcome Jerry! About time you joined up! I am pretty sure I mentioned something about Control Booth when we worked together at Cedar Point. (Matt D by the way) And I would hope you recognize my profile picture as from Boneville :)
