Anyone have experience with Luminara Fireless Candle

Hi.
We are doing a production that requires candles and we are looking for a decent LED solution. I am reading decent things about Luminara Fireless Candles and I was wondering if anyone had any experience with them?

I have not used those particular items. I have used and made several different types of flickering LED candles on stage and they all have pluses and minuses. Up close nothing looks like a real flame; with a little distance LED candles can be very effective. Sometimes the speed at which they flicker can be hit or miss. When they inadvertently sync up it's funny looking, but that doesn't happen very often. If you're looking for a handheld version I think these would be great.
You can also go to the Dollar tree, or local bargin outlet place and buy some LED Votive candles then cannibalize them, hollow out a real taper or whatever kind of candle you want then install the components into it. If you pull the wick it makes a great pathway for some 24ga wire...

Oh, and BTW Welcome to the Booth! Sorry it took so long to respond. Crazy busy around here right now.

I have seen these in retail stores. They do look pretty good for what they are. The "flame" is moved by a repulsing magnet below and is illuminated by the LED. Since it is wiggling by way of magnetism, it doesn't have the issue of sync issues. However, I didn't play with them much to know if there will be issue if they are not on a flat surface or if there would be issue if someone were to be carrying it as the "flame" might not move. If you have a Bath and Bodyworks, I think I might have seen them there before the holidays.
