Video Feedback Loop Projection

In my High School part of the recent renovation (which was riddled with issues, but that's a whole other topic) was a EIKI 810U laser projector, it covers almost our whole stage so one of my forseen uses for it was to create a video feedback loop with a camera during a dance event which happens yearly (it is "over the top"). If anybody has any experience with what is the best way to do it (camera high/low angled, zoomed) to achieve the most "wow" effect it would be greatly appreciated.

Well, try a slight rotation to the camera.

But what you should do is head down to the pawn shops and see if you can get an old video effects generator (one that can also store graphics) so you can do effects while pointing at those dancing. Or maybe use a computer on another input to generate graphics synced to the music (like Windows Media Player can). If you can find one, an "Atari Video Music" device that does that.

This is an easy effect with Isadora. I think that the demo file even has a playback version. As to camera position, that will be personal preference with the choreography.
