I think it's more likely an error or something do with the author/artist being a salesman in Saudi Arabia.

In our building we have a 25Hz mechanical time switch that used to cycle the exhaust fan (we don't use the cycle feature so the time switch is always disabled, I did enable it to see if the gears still moved, but never timed the duty cycle), but it's connected to 60Hz electricity...attached is the rating plate that's on the panel door (inside it also states 25Hz).
