An audio visual event production company based in Rochester in Kent are seeking audio visual AV technicians to join the team. We are a dynamic and motivated team, helping our clients produce seamless events through the application of appropriate event AV technologies.
This role will give you the chance to own your own projects and build relationships with clients directly, while successfully executing their events, whether it be a conference, meeting or awards show. A technical background is a must, as is an interest in theatrical equipment including lighting, sound and PA, vision and display systems as well as staging and backdrops.
Responsibilities
· Technical management of projects from enquiry to debrief
· Specification of the equipment required to undertake the brief
· Collaboration in the creative elements of the proposal
· Management of event crew both before and during the event
· Preparation of equipment in our warehouse prior to departure
· Setup, installation, operation and de-rigging of equipment on site
· Producing/Running the event
· Maintenance of a safe working environment in the planning and execution
Core skills
As a small team the opportunities are large, and the role is what you make of it. We would expect you to:
· Be a motivated self-starter, driven in this industry
· Have some experience working as an AV technician or with live events
· Have a range of experience working with AV equipment
· Excellent IT skills
· Some experience with Project Management
· A drive to expand your current skillset
· Have excellent written and verbal communication

A DRIVING LICENSE is essential to this role and you will be required to drive a van. Since this is a role in events, the hours can be anti-social during busy periods and flexibility is key.
