For you history buffs, I strongly recommend checking out the following two sites. The first, Dry Pigment, is a copious volume of historical pictures, dialogue and information, added to daily. It is Written by Dr. Wendy Rae Waszut-Barrett, Who is also President of Historic Stage Services LLC, http://www.bellascena.com, a company that specializes in restoration of historic drops and scenery, specializing on 19th and early 20th century Scottish Rite scenery.
The second is a facebook group that posts incredible info on scenery, architecture etc. on a regular basis. Both groups include info about European, Australian and other global theatre history as well as North American.
