Rechargeable Battery Meter

Does anyone know if there is a setting or way to make Sennheiser & Shure Wireless mics give an accurate battery meter reading when using NiMH rechargeable batteries rather than alkaline? I thought I remember something from a while ago, but cannot find any info now.
Thanks!

I can only speak about Shures, if they are older, than they only know how to read alkaline, our trick is to reset the meter in the mike with an alkaline, than swap out for the rechargeable. The newer/higher end lines have an option internally to tell the meter what type of battery it is...

Hope this helps

Thanks Sean. Do you know how to make that change? Is it from the button panel?

If you look in the manual it should tell you what buttons to push, if you don't see that option than that model doesn't have it...each model is different, they like to do that, keeps us on our toes.....

I guess they don't realize there isn't a great demand for wireless mics in The Ballet.

well there should be...why should ballet dancers never have to let the audience hear them breath heavy....its only fair....payback for all those feathers and glitter they leave all over the place
