Bending a light bulb

Thanks for the info.
I so wish fixture and lamp makers would do as Planet DJ is doing in keeping alive a discontinued lamp/fixture on the website. All lamp and fixture companies could learn from them - Kudo's. Instead of the black hole such a discontuned lamp/fixture becomes just "gone". So the first question is Chauvet providing a supplier for the lamps at this point given their website lists the fixture? If they are still selling the fixture, they must have a lamp supplier for it, or they are sitting on a bulk of lamps they will "sell at a discount" as often done when lamp/supply of lamp stock problems exist. If Chauvet is still making the light, there must be a source for their lamps and they have to give in spares - this either by them at a discount, or by way of suppliers stocking them.

Yea, I have suppliers that have suppliers that make lamps. Many years since I bought the Philips version of the Martain Atomic XOP 15Of.ofr 3K lamp - they were crap my supplier went to another maker and had them made. On the other hand, this was a volume sale in me buying at least 50 in a batch many times a year. This before the LED version came out. Now I'm down to like at best one batch of 50 lamps per year. LED's are screwing up those custom even volume lamp suppliers ability to make something. This especialy if lesser volume in buying or budget.

Dons Bulbs used to be an excellent recourse for finding info on old obscure lamps, some even for sale. Unfortunately he retired last spring and shut the site down. Some of the site was archived at archive.org but not all of it.

No, this fixture and its lamps are long out of production. I believe the light was first produced in early 2006 and was discontinued within a year or two (right as the LED revolution took hold). My current inventory of these units including my original from 2006 all still work - I'm just trying to be proactive and find a way to extend their life indefinitely. These lamps had notoriously short life as it was (~150hrs if memory serves), so I don't really want to use these anymore until I have a replacement option available.
