Can't find where to set my address???

Hey, has anyone used this controller before? I thought it would be as easy as solder, connect to power and connect my signal.

It has plenty of presets, but when I put it on the preset for DMX:

1.) I can't find where to set my address.
2.) It glows constant (probably need a ghost load).

Can anyone help, I have 2 days to fix it before a show and I have looked for a more extensive users manual online to no avail.

Based on these instructions, or at least what I can decipher from the Chinese translation, you want to set it for Mode 35 [DMX DECODER] mode, and then jam on the PARA button to set the starting DMX address. Judging from the text below, it's possible you may have to manually set the DMX address for each of the 4 parameters, but usually you just need a single starting address.

11. 35 DMX512 DECODER is DMX decoder, completely accepting outside DMX512 signal to work. Taking 4 addresses, R(the first address), G(the second address), B(the third address), reserved channel(the fourth channel), in need of setting address by pressing PARA).

Looks like the other "DMX MODE" is for running built-in chases and looks and isn't what you want. Possible the state you're in already if you're seeing a constant glow. This driver is built for LED's and shouldn't need a ghost load.

If in doubt, set it for DMX and run DMX 1-512 up to full and see what happens. Usually something like this would ship defaulting to Ch1 but experimentation is half the fun of buying generic Chinese electronics! You're lucky to have instructions at all even if it's in broken English.

Bless your soul. I will try this!
