Saying Hi and telling you my experience.
Was in the industry for 30 years (lighting, sound and AV). Quit it because I didn't like the customers, especially the ones that made me do long shifts and then never paid, so I sold off my company. Still in the industry of sort as I now work for a software company that provides equipment rental software. Also as loads of the manufacturers use our software to keep track of loan gear, and many of the big boys use us, I get to see and play with some amazing and brand new stuff.
