Hey folks! Just a little bit of cross promotion, the TechTheatre sub on Reddit will have Jay Duckworth stopping by on Wednesday from 7-9 eastern for an AMA. Jay's got over 35 years of props experience, most known for his work on Hamilton, Fun Home, and Bloody Bloody Andrew Jackson, but also for his decade of residency at the Public Theatre and truly more credits than a person could reasonably list in a short promo. He's excited and ready to answer questions and this is a great chance to get a response directly from the "proptologist". There will be a post that morning so if you can't make the actual time frame where he will be "live" you can still get your questions in.

So check out https://www.reddit.com/r/techtheatre/ wednesday morning for the post. I'll have it stickied and visible once it goes up.

With all that said, I'm looking for more people to do AMA's! I'm desperately looking for women, and BIPOC artists to contribute because as a sub, we're woefully underpresented on those fronts. So if you know somebody that fits the bill please feel free to direct them to me here, on the sub (jasmith-tech on reddit) or email me at Jasmith.tech @gmail.com. Even if you don't fit those categories but still have a unique perspective on tech theatre, a wealth of information to share, or just feel like an AMA with you would benefit a bunch of people, reach out to me anyway because just like ControlBooth, the more information and resources we can share with other people, the more we all benefit.
