I'm trying to cut down on my plastic use, especially film plastic. Maybe get Wardrobe to sew you some muslin sacks for fixture hanging storage. No drawstring needed, they can just get tied on with tieline. Easy to use the mega Sharpie to label with the degree, or spray paint mark them if your barrels are color coded. One could buy color coded Paracord to tie and label all in one.

Dollar store laundry bags might be an option, too.
I would feel bad about having wardrobe make that many bags. I don’t even know if they would have that much scrap, and I don’t know how much Muslin costs, but that might add up to a high price tag very quickly. I do like a cloth idea over plastic though.
I do like those, and they would still allow for storage in a 1 up, 1 down method. Are those just 3D printed?

I think they are just commercially purchased plastic caps of the correct diameter. I can ask.

Yeah they look like caps for CANRON (it's not actually officially called that, now "superduct" I think? Everyone still calls it canron of course.) or similar large diameter conduit (typically used for service conductors coming into a building), of course can't say from the photo from sure. Kinda curious as they'd be pretty handy especially for longer term storage to prevent needing to clean them!
