Well... another late-night browse through eBay and another item at a price I couldn't resist. Now I'm just waiting on some new cinch-jones connectors so I can make cables.
This thing has a whole 20w fluorescent tube jammed into it for the fader backlight, yes... it is just as bright as you would think. Zero documentation on this console, other than a mention and price listing in a wiki entry on here. In true EDI fashion it woke right up with no complaints, and seems to be built pretty well. The only weak point I can see is the "faders", which are just levers attached to potentiometers. The plastic is aging and cracks are beginning to appear near set screws.

Old 2 scene, 6 channel! Output is 2-7.6 volt on cinch-jones pins 1 through 6, fan activate voltage on pin 7, common on pin 8. I think there was a separate cable to slave more consoles. Not uncommon to put gel around the florescent backlight tube.

Check out my conversion from the fluorescent tube to RGB LED tape for fader illumination:

Your unit looks to be in mint condition! As @Mac Hosehead said, unless someone modified it, it is 2-7.6volt output, not standard 0-10. Mine was modified by PNTA back in the 1980's I think.
I happen to have the instruction manual for the system (dimmers and console). PM me. Here are a couple of pages from an EDI old Scrimmer brochure:

PM sent!
I definitely got lucky with it, it was insanely gross but cleaned up really well, there isn't even a tear in the hard case material. I suspect it was stored with its top cover taken off. Yours seems to be a very different revision unless that 0-10v modification required some major work. I'm guessing yours is a newer revision based on the appearance of the ICs. Mine is a bit more of a "circuit sandwich" that's a bit of a bear to take apart. Haven't checked to see if mine was modified, I'll probe the output with a multimeter this afternoon.
