Replacement for Altman 1KL?

What are we recommending these days for an LED replacement for creaky Altman 1KL's? Ours have 575W bulbs in them. We have a dozen Ovation 910FC's that we are happy with, so leaning toward the Ovation brand.

If you're looking for a match to your E-910FCs, look at the Ovation F915FC (8") or the Ovation F415FC (6").
I would comfortably recommend the 915FCs as a BTN replacement in whites, and BTR for any saturate color. The 415 is easily a BTL replacement in whites, or BTN in saturates.

Why are you discussing Fresnel lamps in a thread about Lekos?

In seriousness, are you expecting the lights to be viable/usable/functional for as long as you've had the 1KL's?

Because I forgot the difference between the 1KF and 1 KL, LOL. I've only ever used the fresnels, and misidentified them in my head...

That said... If you like the E910 FC, stick with it. If you want something that's not quite as powerful, but is significantly smaller, with a built-in zoom, take a look at the Ovation E2 FC.
this was just shown at USITT, and got a great reception.

Understandable, as both fixtures are "outstanding" in their class. The way I remember it:
1KF=Fresnel and 1KL=Leko,
politically incorrect though it may be.

And here I thought Ford was being proactive and suggesting that modern fresnels can do the job of a tank-like leko. Actually, warm white is all I need for these guys, the 910fc's color the stage nicely. Perhaps, the E260WW, or his little brother?

Yes, the E160ww is probably closer to a 1:1 replacement. The E260 might be a bit of overkill.

At least Leko-ish...

We’re actually looking to put those into our rental inventory. We Demo’d the one traveling the southwest and it was surprisingly pretty nice. Built in gobos and all the trimmings. Downside is it’s huge.
