Cooked Altman 65 fresnels, worth fixing?

I'm not familiar with (or maybe I am?) Altman 65 fresnels but, can you retrofit mogul based PARs in there, solve the reflector issue anyway. The Par 40s,54, and 65's also come in LED and I love them! 8 Par 56's on one stand running on one 600 watt channel! Output equivilant to 8 500 watt halogens. Par lamps available in many different beam angles and color temperatures.

Freebees spent a few years dead hung in my garage in contacting local theaters in asking if they wanted them without response. Lens trains and blue lenses are TBD but in the works.

Not sent or really arranged for is the three elder Lekos in being fair game if interested. They ae the P-28s version, but I have pre-fabricated the upgrade part duplicates to the below fixture in museum stock.

Century/Strand #2321 6x9 Leko (c. post 1970); Has HX-600 G-9.5 Med. 2Pin lamp socket and lamp - should be 500w EGE P-28s Medium Pre-Focus lamp. Gobo slot included. Fixture never had a P-28s lamp in it - was designed with a plate to use a G-9.5 socket in not being an upgrade. Radial Base lamp cap.

So three Century/Strand Leko's that are fine with a GLA lamp as best lamp for them are available. Or you or I could convert these radial fixtures to HPL. A few weeks out in me working on these fixtures what ever the interest.

I think on the question of fitting a PAR lamp into a Fresnel.... Yes I could and have done for a coming tour some in this case Mole 2Kw beam projectors with PAR 64 lamps. On the other hand, I do not belive we are talking the same language of asking if I could switch a Altman 65Q 6" Fresnel to a G-16d based PAR fixture. A PAR 64 and PAR 56 would not fit inside a 6" Fresnel. And in general, putting a PAR lamp into a Fresnel lighting fixture would be an interesting concept, but bad.
Reflector issue is curious, what is your problem with reflectors in looking to replace. This in looking to help and in no way intended than finding out what's going on in your ask. This to help and educate. Perhaps start a new topic with pictures in us helping as our goal for the website.
