I have 2 Martin Jem ZR12 foggers, one is working perfectly fine with DMX and the other is not. The second one is constantly on when addressed to the address for them in the patch even if the channel is at 0 and if it is on a different address than the working one. No idea why. Any thoughts...

Instead of renting a DMX fogger, would it be possible to tape down the on switch and using a Edison to Stage Pin adapter, turn the machine on and off. Or would this ruin the machine?
