I am mostly a freelance techie who has a job not involved in theatrical/show production, but does it more as a second job/hobby. I am in charge of technical stuff at my local church as well as consult on technical operations for some local high school theatres.
As for an area of expertise, I manly do lighting, but I also do quite a bit of sound ops (more concert type) and some set construction. Lately I have been TD for many of my shows as well as LD.
My current projects include a control booth renovation at the church (on-going and we are doing most of the work ourselves). I am also the TD and LD for a local high school doing "The 12 Jurors". The theatre teacher (friend of mine) just started a technical theatre class this year and I am helping him out with lesson ideas. Any suggestions are welcomed, please email me.
