A wiring device designed to connect four 28V lamps in series to one another, allowing the four 28V lamps to operate on a 120V supply. Has one male plug and four female connectors. The females are often a non-standard connector to the venue, specifically to lessen the chance of a 28V fixture being plugged in to 120V.

Similar is an "ACL Box," where the four female receptacles are flush mounted in an electrical box. Do not mistake either of the the above with a "four-fer"! (which would have the females wired in parallel).

If the PAR fixtures are permanently mounted on an "ACL Bar," all of the wiring is inside the bar and there is only the one male plug.
