The Multipurpose Network Control Protocol Suite for the entertainment technology industry designed to provide interoperability between different equipment, “ANSI E1.17-2006 – Architecture for Control Networks (ACN)” (2006), was standardised in October 2006.
As part of the primary research for my BSc Honours dissertation about entertainment lighting networks and control protocols, I am conducting a user survey to assess user-level knowledge of ACN and entertainment lighting control protocols in general.
