Vintage Lighting Actual "Nernst Lamp" running (120 years old)

Must admit I had never heard of this light source, but it was apparently an early competitor to the standard incandescent lamp around 1900. "Photonicinduction" apparently has a couple and refirbed one and then put it through it's paces! Pretty strange and operates without a vacuum, but requires a pre-heater.

The internal heater-glower relay and mechanics of how that works are really cool to see
 
I was glad to see him come back to YouTube a few weeks ago. He was in a pretty rough place when he left a couple years ago.
