Additional Training in the Dallas Area

Hello,
I recently graduated with a degree in theatre, and am now seeking some additional training. The job I am pursuing requires a familiarity with exchanging gobo and color wheels, replacing lamps, and replacing belts in intelligent fixtures. Unfortunately I did not get an opportunity to learn this in school. Does anybody know of anywhere in the Dallas, TX area where I can pursue this, or if there is anybody willing, I would be glad to exchange my time or some compensation for the training. I appreciate your time.

Isn't there a little moving light company based in Dallas that offers Technical Service Training?

Vari-Lite - Philips Entertainment Service Training

The class is extremely hands on. All fixture types will be disassembled to the sub-assembly level. Maintenance and troubleshooting techniques will also be covered.

Perhaps more than you need at the moment, but is there anything wrong with too much education?

I looked at that, but I'm afraid I don't currently meet the requirements. Also, the $500 wasn't entirely appealing
