We are a pre-professional undergrad training program, providing a solid base of core theatre classes as well as fully realized productions, mounted by students through hands-on theatre practicum.
We are looking for a TD to teach Intro to Stagecraft and supervise the build for two shows in Spring term (mid-March to mid-June) of 2012.
Must have B.A. in Technical Theatre, M.F.A. or equivalent experience prefererred.
Both shows are student built (all undergrad), with hands-on guidance of carps and mentoring for TD students.
Shop has a Technical Manager on staff to assist with shop supervision, tools, etc.
Must coordinate with design and tech team consisting of faculty and students.
Adjunct pay rate of $500/credit, approx 7-9 credit load.
This position will repeat every other year (Spring 2014, 2016, etc.) as it is a sabbatical replacement.
Part-time summer employment also possible.
