I haven't worked with them, but they appear to be nothing more than an architectural parfixture - not much to go wrong. In general, Altman makes great par cans.
These units are very inexpensive. They are not super practical for repeated swapping of color etc as they are intended to be set and lamper and left alone for extended periods of time.

I have a chance to purchase several pallet size boxes of these units, along with some color filter holders made by Altman as well. Please note that I am not advertising them here, however I buy lost or unclaimed freight at auction, then make a living reselling. I'm just trying to determine if they are a good investment, as I have had a difficult time finding info/reviews/pricing.
