Hey, just curious, but what brand amps do you all use? We use Crown for our moniters and Peavey for our mains. We also have a Peavey board. YEa... my school sucks.

I use Peavey for both mains and monitors. There are amps with a little better specs for frequency response, distortion and S/N ratio, but at much higher prices. And Peavey amps are very forgiving. Mine have survived years of being dragged around from show to show, being run hard on poor power (constant low line voltage, spikes that damaged other gear, etc.) and still work well and sound good.

Crown Macrotech 2400 & 3600's for mains and Crest CA12's for monitors.

Crown CSL 460 (FEEL THE POWER ;)) into four Mackie ART-300

Stadium uses a QSC USA 1310 for the subs and an Altec-Lansing 9442A I believe... it's quite old... for the mains.

Altec Lansing stuff may be old but it will last forever...next to concrete horns those things can take amazing abuse and still work..

I know man, it's still going strong. A little low on the signal-to-noise, but still a great amp.
