Another mystery thingy

Thanks to everyone for helping me identify the use of the light extender rods! Below is another piece that has puzzled me since I found it. It was onstage and it was shortly after some roof work was done (though I don't know if there is a connection). Any ideas?

Looks like a ladder basket. Can't tell if it has a bottom or not. But if it is for outside and it rains you would want the holes.

Agreed, or a home made Scissor, man-lift tool holder. designed to fit over the top rail of the lift with feeties supported on the uprights.

My first guess was scissor lift tool basket as well. There's a venue I work in often that I really wish had one of those...
