Apollo Right Arm issue?

Hi all
I was back in my theatre today for the first time in a year, just checking to see whats going on with the lighting rig.

I updated my EOS to version 3.1 and started checking out equipment.

One thing that did not seem to work was either of our (2) Apollo Right Arms. The display shows the software version ( 1.6 ) and says that it is seeing DMX, and shows the correct DMX address. Neither Right Arm will pan or tilt however ( They do home on start up ). We also have an Iris and Scroller on the Right Arms - they both seem to be working correctly.

Anyone else see this? Any ideas?
Is anyone successsfully using a Right Arm with EOS 3.x software

Thanks

Sounds like a profile issue. Take it off and run them as a normal channel. The homing I imagine happens because your circuits are being energized from parked channels.

Did you update your fixture library when you installed 3.1? With a lot of fixtures you have to go into patch and hit the update on specific profiles.

Back when I was doing support for software, we frequently had DSU errors ( Dumb S**t User).
I am pleased to announce that this was a DSU error. ( and that I was the DSU )

Sooooooo what was it. Inquiring minds ya know
