Hello All.
I’m curious if there are any Clay Paky Axcor 300 spot users here? I’ve had a number of fixtures that have had failure of the LED lens system. The homogeniser filter (I assume is plastic or resin) in the collimating lens has completely melted and in the process pitted and damaged the surface of the large condenser optic, and also coated the back of the front lens in a white powder.
I would have expected far more from Clay Paky as far as durability?
The internal fans are running, and the large heat sink is unobstructed so airflow is not an issue.
I’m curious of other users experiences?
For reference, I’ve attached a photo of what the lens should look like, and the resulting damage.
