Beam Candle Power. Term used in the photometric performance of a luminaire. Also referred to as CBPC (Center BCP) or PC (Peak Candelas) in some literature. Given a specific BCP, intensity at any given throw distance can be determined by the formula: intensity=BCP/distance^2.
