Belt light splices

Does anyone know how to use these splice connectors for 5wire belt light? I’ve tried a few different ways they don’t seem to be passing the electricity to the next section.

Please define what belt light you are using and the situation further. This is looking like a CNC or 3D priter single hole barrier strip without protective cover. This a low voltage connection? Never seen this before, the brass/bronze conducting strips epoxied to the base plastic? Interesting.

Overall concept is you connect the wires to the connectors with crimped ring terminals with lock washers. It will conduct - and by the photo, conduct like 30 Amps... just not safely to touching it, or loose screw heat melting any epoxy attaching the strips to the plastic.

Thought the ring terminal attachments could be attached to some form of nut mounted in the plastic - which would mechanically mount the buss bar to the plastic... Not done that way on Marathon Blocks in a seperate means of mounting the bar - see above if it comes loose. If a nut of some type, it should be insulated under the plastic in some way - silicone or other means. If no insulation - even if low voltage, reject it and call into question anyone attempting to supply this. Especially if no nut and screws thread into plastic only.

If you already have a contract, "is this a UL' Listed part" should make them provide proper Marathon Blocks or other UL listed parts.
