Short for "biological function break." The modern, politically-correct, adult euphemism for "potty break." The term is often heard on headset on corporate shows, during looong rehearsals or sessions. It is considered less offensive to ask, "Ms. Stage Manager, may I take a quick bio?," rather than announce, "I have to go urinate."
