Boardwalk Set

I am wondering if any of you have any ideas, or have built a boardwalk set. It needs to be rather tall (5 or 6 feet) and actors need to be able to stand under it.

I have built a boardwalk set. Well, more like a docks/gangways/piers kind of set. You just looking for inspiration or a how-to?

Does it move on and off stage, Is it static? What are your rigging options. WHat's the looks ? Pier-type, 4x4. How many people? How big a span?
