1. Similar to, and often used interchangeably with, rosin paper, except with no impregnation. This definition is used by scenic artists and other theatrical builders.

2. Gray or Brown craft paper, just slightly heavier than newsprint and used as packing material. Does not have the absorbent qualities of the above.
