For the past four years, I have been Technical Director of the Buckley Performing Arts Center at Massasoit Community College. In this position I have a great deal of responsibility and work to ensure technical success of a variety of artist's visions, and communicate with many different people. I am responsible for building and rigging the sets and the electrical and audio needs for all the facility's productions. I am an experienced metal worker and I run the school's scene shop. To prepare for a production, we work under tight deadlines and build, paint, and modify complicated structures.
Recently I have been working on an Untitled Kevin James film, in the construction department through I.A.T.S.E. local 481, but I am not a union member. I have also worked on call
as a rigger and carpenter at the Institute of Contemporary Art, Boston. I have also designed and built the set for a nationally televised cable television program.
