The man who died was named David Turner from Oxford, Miss. He was not related to singer Josh Turner and had been the band's sound Engineer for more than 10 years.

Wow. Worked with him back in July.

How terrible. He was great to work with, an old school monitor engineer who pretty much oozed experience. He had a great sense of humor and enjoyed his cigars without apology. I had hoped to see him and his epic monitor guy pony tail again one day.
