Cable/Jumper Weight

So, I've been looking around for previous threads that might cover this but I haven't found anything.

Does anyone know of a typical weight for Jumper cable (12/3) per foot? To be used for calculating loads on electrics/battens? I figure there has to be some typical weight out there, but I haven't found anything. Any ideas? Or if you know of any previous threads that cover this topic that would be great as well.

Thanks!

How about a bathroom scale and a few different standard lengths of jumpers?

You could even weigh a 25' cable and divide it by 25 to get your approximate weight per foot, of course this would be a little inaccurate since the connectors would factor in. You could even take those off if you're wanting to split hairs.

According to grainger.com, a 250' spool of SOOW 12/3 weighs 57lbs, . If that's accurate then then it would be about .23 lb/foot including 1/250 of the weight of the spool in that value.
