CAD for Mac

    hello,
    i was wondering if anyone could help me out ?

    i am looking for some CAD software that will work on a mac ?

    i am design lighting and sound and av at college and i need to make cad drawings !

    please help me and recommend some mac software and window but i Haven't t got that match space on my windows part of my mac :0

    i used vector works it just i dont know how to put point motors and rake seating

    Regarding "point motors,' you have 2 good options: either use Symbols (ones you or others create) or what VW calls "Plug-In Objects." If you're interested in the latter, VW2016 includes a new "Hoist" PIO. And, while there are also several users who have created proprietary (for their own use) tools of varying complexity, you might look into Sam Jones' "Chain Hoist" tool (http://www.autoplotvw.com/).

    Regarding "rake seating," I'd recommend spending some time with VW's "Seating Layout" tool and its "Rise Per Row" parameter. That might do what you're wanting.
