Originally called Pan-Cake by Max Factor, this cosmetic is made of compressed powder that must be activated by water. It is usually applied with a damp sponge and dries to a matte finish. It is used as a thick foundation to cover skin discolorations, blemishes, scars, and tattoos. The final result is flawless looking skin on stage and in front of the camera.
