Hi,
I'm new here so I apologize if this topic has been beaten to death already.
I have a US SSN and am currently a Permit of IATSE in Toronto Canada. I was thinking of doing a work vacation to L.A. to try and work on some film sets in the carpentry area. My IATSE union here had no details on what is required for me to do this other than contact the local IATSE (Local 44 I expect in Orange county) and see what they can do to help me.
So, Any one else out there who have done this? All the hard part is done i.e. SSN, and am a member of IATSE in Canada already...
