Hello All,
I could really use a capstan winch at my theatre, but I can't afford one.
So:
Why couldn't I similarly anchor a chain hoist and use it, attached to an arbor, in place of a capstan winch?
Has anybody seen this done?
It seems like an obvious workaround if a properly located structural anchor point can be provided.
