Casket Locks

I'm using casket locks to join 8 4x8 platforms together (16x16) and was wondering if a single casket lock on each 4' end and two along the 8' sides would be enough, or does anyone think I need more?

That's the standard I've seen on 4x8 decks I've used.

I'm assuming to just hold then together - not supporting anything?

As others have said, that should be fine.

On a side note, you may want to have a pin guide or something like that as I have seen that when you lock them, the two two decks can slide against each other. aka, the front edge of the two decks wont be inline

you may not have that issue, but I have seen it happen
