I am wondering just what the "CGMP" refers to regarding swage tools
I assume it is a series of size designators as you find the letters near the swage tool grooves. I have seen the letters on various manufactures tools so do they refer to a standard of some agency or association?

It might refer to "Current Good Manufacturing Process". Generally you will see that in documentation of medical products manufacture, as drug companies and such are legally responsible to use cGMP while making drugs. Now this might be a different set of regulations associated with rigging tools, but Im not sure on that. The other major definition I found is "Cisco Group Management Protocol" which is used by Cisco Systems. For some reason, I doubt thats what your looking for.
