Anyone know of good classes/seminars on intelligent lighting or on whole hog in the southern california area? I'm looking to brush up my skills and resume.

You might try checking in with your local USITT Chapter. To find yours, visit USITT's home page at www.usitt.org. USITT stands for United States Institute of Theater Technology.

You could always go to LA to the HES Office and do a training session with the Hog II. They offer a few classes a year ranging from fixture repair to consoles. They also are very good about doing private lessons. I am doing a few at one of their other offices in the next month or so.
