Hi all, this maybe a silly question but is there such a thing as a CMY chart, I.e. a chart that tells how much Magenta and how much Yellow to get a certain colour.

Any help would be greatly thanked

Those are great, just so long as you realize they are approximate. Every manufacturer's C, M, and Y filters are different. Those percentages will get you close, but for a spot on match, you are going to have to play with them a bit....

I don't know about all manufacturers but I know that some provide charts for you that match the specific attributes of their dichroic filters. So I would research the website of the particular product you are using.

Also if you get a new Strand or ETC console it will do the color matching to a particular filter for you... which is REALLY sweet. My Strand Palette/Seachanger combo seems to be very accurate when Gel matching.
