Control/Dimming Colortran innovator encoder wheel repair.

One of the encoder wheels on my (not so loved) innovator has finally given up, it won't react to any form of input, but will randomly decide to change values by itself if it feels like it. I'm guessing one of the little optical sensors on the encoder daughterboard has died. The daughterboard/encoder assembly is no longer available anywhere at a price I'm willing to pay, so I might just take a shot in the dark and order some new optical sensors. Before I go ahead and do so I wanted to see if anyone here had attempted this repair before and if they were successful. I've heard this was a common problem with the innovator series.

Thanks,
Gage

Have you checked with Litetrol Service in Hicksville, NY ?. Steve Short (owner) has been Mr. Colortran for a few decades, he might have a part.
